Good to know...

Richard Berman was born in South Africa and immigrated to Texas with his family when he was young. After studying film at the University of Texas in Austin, Richard followed his calling by moving to Los Angeles where he has amassed an impressive list of commercial, music video, film, television and multi media credits and has been to 31 countries around the world. Over the past 24 years, he has worked with some of the commercial world's top directors such as Sam Bayer, Fredrik Bond, Mark Romanek, David Fincher and even produced for Jeff Goodby. His creative instinct along with his organizational and people skills make him an asset to every project and garnered his work with some of the biggest awards such as an Emmy and Gold Lion. Richard's calm demeanor, even in the most intense situations, make him a favorite with directors, clients and agency alike. Richard's passion for travel and especially organizing African Horse Back Safari's has given him some great experience that make good stories.. whether being charged by a leopard, galloping through the waters of the Okavango Delta, or traveling and being on a panel with Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu, he still makes a better listener than storyteller. But all his adventures have taken a back seat to his biggest passion... his family, including his wife Andrea and two beautiful twins, Kai and Naya. Although by age 6, Kai and Naya have traveled to 7 countries and already experienced safaris, playing with lion cubs and hand feeding giraffes.
